I tested the same pill 3 x all 3 x the same reaction with Marquis, intially orange then purple streaks within 2sec then all to black within 30sec.

With Simons it turned blue right away with the 2nd reagent

I have tested many speed pills before and they usually test out orange to brown with no or little streaks and have turned completely black/drak purple after any time.

Questions:

1-Does the purple streaks mean there is a small amount of e-like substance present?

2-Does the initial orange mean there is a higher speed content and reacted quicker then the e-like substance?

3-What does the turning all dark purple/black within 30sec tell me?

Thank you for your help
DR. JK

Thanks for the replies. So can we conclude that when you have purple streaks it means MDXX presence?

Thanks
Dr. JK

Possibly, never a hundred percent with reagent testers but yes. But the fast and conastant orange reactions means that the methamphetamine is present in much higher amounts than the MDxx IMO. I'd say there is only trace amounts of MDxx, probably not enought to be even felt.

when it fades to purple or almost black it is either mdXX or dxm...unless you have a new tester...i'll edit this later to include the name cause i cant think of it now. but it now can distinguish dxm from mdXX...whichc if you did have that kind of tester then the orange meand is has dxm in it.

DXM VS MDXX

Thanks Johnboy for your reply.
bad_note:
I used Simons for the 2nd part and it turned blue. Now here is the question: did it turn blue cause meth presence rather than amphetamine or did it turn blue cause of the MDXX presence?

Thanks,
DR. JK

Yes. It reacted to the meth part in either or both the methamphetamine and the 3,4 Methlynedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

Oh and bad note it referring to the Mecke tester sold by Dancesafe which will turn orange to DXM. Mecke is useful in differentiating between MDMA and DXM, but is useless as tits on a bull when you have speed in your pills.
