Going to be going to psych appointments and one of the biggest issues that is going to be tackled is going to be my add/adhd. Got "officially" diagnosed, meaning went thru two two hr appointments of testing and determined I had whatever and a stimulant med. is reccommended. Ive been on and off my insurance and throught the past two years of having this paperwork saying stims were reccommended ive had no problem obtaining essentially whatever i wannted. Adderall ir and xr, dexedrine ir,rtalin ir and xr,strattera,vyvanse....basically everything but the mythical desoxyn. So no that im going back i wanted to maybe try somthing new seeing, in my opinion all adhd medication that is amphatamine based is just speed and speed is a catch 22 because you rely on it 100% and become psycologically dependent after about a month and REALLY doesnt help too much with the add. Now i got to thinking about modifinil because two things, micheal jackson took it as his stimulant of choice and that dude was a pharma conessuier, and an hbo series mentioned PROVIGIL and referenced it ias being really "high quality speed" even tho it contains no amphetamine. So does anyone have any info on provigil/modifinil or personal experiernce? If so how does it compare to adderall and how does it do as a recreational stimulant if one wanted to get "high". Thanks!!!

Lol. This must be some weirdest reason to ask for a specific drug from a Dr.

"Dear Dr I would like to get Modafinil as Michael Jackson used it and it is mentioned in a HBO series." :D

Your Dr. isn't a shopping mall but instead a qualified professional who will RX a drug he or she finds you need. Not a one you think you need based on your "extensive" knowledge :)

And btw. it is spelled connoisseur.

Have you ever tried modafinil? I think you are the firts person I 'met' who would prefer moda over amphetamines. I didn't find it helps me to get focus, or better said it didn't do anything else except helping me to stay awake.

never tried moda in my life...and thanks for the sp correction, didnt know there was a ranking SS grammer nazi abound.

Sphongle1987, You should watch for it.

As a high ranking SS officer of Volksreich's grammary correction division I have plenty of options available in order to force you to spell correctly.
