I saw a shadow, though I could not discern it size or shape.
A blaze of Roman torches cast this void
That out of time
Grew only brighter.
There once was a dream that was Rome
Two millennia passed before it was to be realized.
A long tradition of presence and absence.
So the logos I feared,
And to the oblivion I was cast.
In the dark my strength doubles
And the silence will resonate
And the shadow will resonate
And in exile I will remain.
For there is far more to be gleaned from the shadow than the darkness of its light . . .
Cast away from the center to a kingdom of madness,
I only had to make the announcement,
For the death had already occurred at your hands!
A wanderer in hidden lands,
One should relish such a condition!
And never rage against the dying of the light . . .
And from another realm I will cast my stone, (the stone is critical)
For there I am free of sin,
And usher in what will come after THIS . . . modern exile.
