I roughly use 90mg of morphine intranasally or 2 to 2 & 1/2 OC 40 orally (broken into quarters).
or occasionally 1 to 1 & 3/4 of Suboxone 8mg film.
Is there any recommended dosing/pointers for a first time Fent user?
Warnings and do nots are welcomed, plan on transdermal use.

The converter in the large Fent thread roughly suggested 30.3mcg.
Sound right?
Just looking for opinions/input.

From what I've heard it's very very potent.
Would using half or quarter of a patch be a decent idea?
Thanks, guys.
If this is in the wrong section or already posted, my apologies.

You've heard correctly.. fentanyl is incredibly potent. Up to 100x more potent than morphine.

Each 2mg morphine is approxiamtely equal to 1 mcg/hour of a fentanyl patch. For example, 100mg's of morphine=50mcg/hour of fentanyl.

You want to be very cautious when using fentanyl, man. Be safe.

What dosage is the patch you have in mcg/hr? The best way to use the fentanyl patch (and ONLY safe way), is to wear it as intended. If it's the proper dose you'll still get the fentanyl experience (which isn't terribly euphoric imo).

Wearing the patch also allows you to take it off if you start to feel uncomfortable, and the experience will quickly plateau and then begin to decrease after an hour or 2. It takes 8-12 hours to feel it fully after you put it on though, so don't give up immediately if you think it's not working. But don't go to sleep during that time either, as it could be dangerous.

If it's a lower dose patch you'll definitely be fine wearing it, as your tolerance is moderate, but I'd be careful with a 50 or 100 mcg/hr patch. You'd probably be ok with a 50 but you may get sick.

Be safe. Remember, there's no safe way to abuse fentanyl.
