Stimulants Modafinil Effected by Amp Tolerance?

So I went on a binge a few weeks ago, 1-3 days on base sleeping 4 hours and eating. All good, but I notice one draw back usually modafinil wakes me up instantly. Sometimes I had to break the pill in half as it was to strong, now it barely wakes me up. And it's stronger brother armodafinil is just the same, is it possible speed effects these drugs? Keep in mind this is after a break and rest...

Yeah, it's possible, one of the main mechanisms of action of modafinil is blocking the dopamine transporter. It should theoretically still keep you awake since its orexin activity is not shared by amphetamine (to my knowledge),

I would wager that your lack of sleep is making you feel tired. Perhaps take a couple nights of good rest and try some modafinil again?

This is a known effect. I use this interaction when I need to stay up very long periods without dosing too high (to get side effects) on either, and of course taking supplements/diet properly.

If you play it right, you can stay up a long ass time without getting tweaked out. Low doses of antipsychotics really do help if you go 30+ hours though.

Edit: Modafinil is also useful in treating meth dependence, I should add.

I see, what would you recommend other than a break from stimulants for modafinil to work again? Since speed (my stimulant of choice) tolerance lasts a long time. I'm hoping it won't be as long a the effect it has on modafinil...
