MK-801 - first few experiences - All systems go

Did the MK-801 affect your vision like ketamine or DXM, like where everything seems to sparkel or shimmer in a low light sort of way. To me it seems like those drugs soften the way light reflects off of objects, sort of softening the edges.??
 
Wow I forgot about this one. I remember reading it way back then and thinking that it didnt sound appealing to me at all once tantric posted his followups. One of those obscure chemicals that just doesnt sound right for human ingestion once you hear further effects that happen

I definitely do too, to a degree which i cant even state in words.
Its experimentalists and self-made guinea pigs which keep the world of medicine/drugs (and Science as a whole) progress and evolve. major props to everyone who falls into that category

OK lets break this down one more time for the K-heads :)

I'm gathering that:

(+)MK-801 at 1mg is equivalent to
PCP at 10mg and this is equivalent to
1000mg Ketamine

(Remember John Lilly's commentary on ECCO telling him he shouldn't have done 10mg of PCP before his bicycle accident? Hehe. That they coordinated the accident with 10 broken bones etc.. to teach him to RESEARCH the damn dosages!. I think something could be learned from this).

So taking 1mg of (+)MK-801 is like taking an at-once gram(1000mg) of Ketamine.

I would be tempted to say NO WONDER the experience is just fragged and not much remembered in the 1mg(+)MK-801 dose, and even the doses around that range. AS well practiced as I am with Ketamine I wouldn't do 1000mg at-once. I've IV'd around 500mg (5ml) and didn't remember shit, and felt weak and sick afterwards. Dose seems to be the key. Find the right dose and my suspicions are MK-801 could be just as wonderful as K.

At 500ug of (+)MK-801 that's 500mg of Ketamine. 5ml, half a vial etc... When I did that much Ket like I said, I didn't remember shit!

I'm seeking, as I like the subanesthetic/stimulant doses of Ketamine where.........

Everything gets more soft-edged looking, colors brighten, breathing is easier because respiratory functions are increased, increased energy, tactile sensations are a bit, but not fully dulled ... so you feel like you're an astronaut walking on the moon. You have moments of confusion - even the most sober of us do anyway ... but they're usually for me because I'm wondering "what is the deal with all these coincidental events"? I notice how my walking is more like a flowing, and how everything around me has seemed to slow down ever so slightly. I think to myself, maybe I'm able to anticipate events and be right on time or... one step ahead of everyone around me because time has slowed for them, but not within my own sphere? Or what if this is a life-simulation (then I start to get sad). But anyway... The above paragraph was usually the case with 50mg snorted, or 30mg IM Ketamine. And it took at least a few days to completely enter the 'Alternity' and keep it flowing. Upon coming back to baseline I always just felt energized and the very obvious anti-depressant effects. I felt spiritual energy and all that good stuff. I think it was the eventual Solid State Entities that John Lilly mentions who fucked me up. I stayed at this dose range and in the Alternity for 6 months go-through. They tried to convice me through too many overwhelming coincidences and synchronicities that EVERYTHING is all in my mind and not a single one of you are real, sentient beings. SSE are bastards, they are the 'cold machine' behind the molecule.

So maybe to get a similar effect with (+)MK-801 as with Ketamine would be..
50mg Ketamine is 50ug (+)MK-801 so 50ug. According to the trip reports they seem to complain that 50ug isn't impressive or enough. But anything above that seems like a lot of complaining and 'can't remember'.

Maybe 100ug of (+)MK-801 after some tolerence build-up but here's a thought.... remember the FIRST few times you did K? How it just knocked you silly? You were doing lil itty bitty lines and your friends were snorting 200mg lines and walkin around talkin while you're stuck like chuck in the corner... and if you ate, you probably puked your first time. :) I think (+)MK-801 given some patience and proper dosage .. that each low experience with it will get you groovin.

At any rate, I'm going to get some, probably just 5mg. Does anyone know if it will show up as PCP or Ket on a drugtest? I know the latter show up as eachother.

Apparantly, it is used to model schizophrenia in rats when investigating for example a new neuroleptic. Does anyone have an idea on the validity of this model? My spontaneous thought when I learned about it is that it was kind of whack.
