Mixing Vyvanse and Concerta

I take 36mg concerta every morning for the last few years so i dont get a "high" from it anymore so today i just randomly had a Vyvanse 40mg laying around and decided i wanna get stimulated today, is mixing the two very bad? i started to think about my heart and stuff i dont want it to explode or have a heart attack but i have a HUGE tolerence to concerta. thanks for any input

Concerta and other DRI's, like Wellbutrin, actually decrease the activity that amphetamine (lisdexamfetamine in the case of Vyvanse) exerts on dopamine, making the amps a lot weaker.

I would just do the Vyvnase and save the Concerta for when you're out of coffee or something. Tolerance means nothing with this type of interaction, btw.

^^ but why, is it dangerous? i feel pretty stimulated and not sick i feel pretty good is there a danger to my health mixing the two or just one will work less
