Harm Reduction mixing oxy with methadone for iv use

swim has noticed that if you mix morph with dilatta it takes the sting out of the morph and its a better rush...what about methadone and oxy mix since dones dont give a rush can you mix to make a rush???/:?
 
We don't use SWIM here. Also, I'm moving this to the correct section, but it might not stay open for long. I'm sure that you will get your answer first though.

Having said that, both methadone and oxy don't really produce a rush, so there is no point in mixing the two. Furtermore, there is no real gain to IVing either of the two. Methadone doesn't produce a rush and will last much longer if you just take it orally. The same goes for oxy. For a lot of people it doesn't produce a rush when IV'd, for others it does, and I would say on average it produces a very mild rush that doesn't compare to that of dilaudid, morphine, heroin, or oxymorphone.

Also, I'm not sure what your tolerance or habit is like but I would be careful with the methadone unless you have a lot of experience with it, especially IVing it.
 
^^i think he meant dilaudid maybe?? but yeah, no real point in iving either. plus these days since oxy is a giant mess in the spoon and methadone is really only going to be found in pill form (i know the liquid is readily available, but you cant shoot that safely) iv oxy has a rush, its not like heroin youre right about that. but yeah, not worth the mess. plus in the actual process of getting both of those in a shot you would lose so much over just taking them orally.
 
as said above, both these meds are best taken orally. these are the only two strong pharm opioids that are like this.
