mixing legal highs

got some legal highs to try out at a night out coming up

its going to be a 12-14 hour session, drinking invloved (prob about 70cl of vodka throughout the course of the night

im going to try 1/2 buzz and 1/2 cherry pop to start it all off, after only a couple of drinks

then il have 1 x buzz, 1 x cherry pop to take as and when i feel (if i need couple hours into it) .... and then i have a neon cap (again ONLY if i need it to top it all off) . . .

ive read reports of people mixing the liquids mentioned above with good effects

and also people drinking alchohol whilst taking them.

il just need to drink some water every hour or so also, to stay hydrated

does any1 have any thoughts ? is alchohol ok to consume with these legals ?

and what about the dosage ?

INGREDIENTS OF BUZZZ: Honey, bitter orange, kanna, l-tyrosine, saffron, Chocolate extract, Octopamine, H20 & Etoh

INGREDIENTS OF CHERRY POP: Guarana, Citrus Aurantium, Peargonium Quercifolium, Cherry flavour, Chocolate extract, Octopamine


neons dont have ingredients .... but are labelled from the same manufactuers as engery, empthey and entrophy.



my friend is new to these legal drugs, he used to just pop as many pills he needed to keep on top

This sounds like it could end up as a very uncomfortable experience. Legal highs have a bad reputation for making you feel shit and doing close to nothing. You don't know what's really in any of those product so you can't know if it's safe to combine them, especially with alcohol
 
hmm the ingredients contain "energy, empathy and entrophy?" you believe that? shit if could fill stuff with energy and empathy i'd be rich too... unfortunately I don't think those two particular 'qualities' are available in any kind of 'solid' supply.
 
Be very careful!

Have you tried them all individually? You should try them by themselves first and see if you like them before considering mixing them together.

Poly drug taking can be very dangerous as the metabolites can mix and form toxic compounds. These can be more dangerous than the idividual drugs thrmselves.

A good example is mdma + alcohol the metabolite of mdma an the alcohol mix together to form something that is bad for the heart IIRC.

Also it sounds as if your going out to take drugs and not gping out to have fun and then let the drugs simply heighten your exp. This is a dangerous place as i feel drugs simply amplify youe happiness, and do not create it. You could end up npt getting as high as you want because of this and take more and more increasing your risk of serious harm.

Another note is without knowimg what is in thr neons you have we cant provide any recomendations.

As others have said -

Don't mix drugs, it is unsafe.

You are seriously, better off throwing them in the bin and actually buying a real illicit drug thats not in pill form, and if it is, test it.

At least you can be somewhat sure of its contents and organise yourself to be as safe as possible while using.

Dropping random unknown drugs while piling in the alcohol isn't a good idea, unless you like increasing the chance of seeing ambo's and explaining to police what happened.
 
It's a fucking stupid idea to be blunt.

Neons purportedly contain Turkestan Mint, which would explain their minty smell.

Neons on their own should be fun enough, and alcohol diminishes the effects of most of the XPILLZ range.
 
Yeh I'm sure lots of bluelighters have reported getting pretty ill mixing "legal" highs with alcohol. I can't recall whether they were talking specifically about piperazines or more recent party pills etc? I wouldn't bother mixing the cherry pop/buzz with alcohol to be honest. Do one or the other, not both :)

Really? I'll have to look that up, I know that alcohol and cocaine results in the metabolite cocaethylene which is reportedly more euphoric but with worse cardiovascular toxicity.

OP: Good luck, hope that doesn't get too uncomfortable for you.
 
I really think it is unwise to mix shit like this, the ingredients listed have a high likelihood of not being totally accurate so it makes researching what you are doing impossible. Seriously man, I don't even know why people keep buying this crap after a bazillion reports they fucking suck but to each their own I suppose.
 
Mr Blonde, I don't remember where I read that, but it might of been in regard to coke, I shall have a look this evening. However a quick search seems I was mistaken.

However polydrug use can be extremely dangerous.

if my friend could source some illicit drugs he would happily.


unfortunatly, not knowing anyone in the country who he can ask where to source them from is the problem :(

i think he is thinking about giving them a miss, just getting drunk, trying to score some illict ones on the night ... maybe falling back to the neons he has already
 
I've mixed Buzz and CherryPop together, they are very nice together. Try half a bottle of each and see how you feel in 30minutes, then topup with the rest if you feel like it. I wouldn't drink before you have them though, it usually upsets my a little bit and makes me feel a bit sick, but having them alone you will be fine i find.
Depending how I feel, I will drink 2 or 3 beers after about 2-3hours dosing them.

I noticed an effect from them and I am a huge caffeine consumer.

Its not very strong or long lasting but an effect none the less. If you drink with them you will probably not get as much out of it.

For the original poster
There are warnings that usually go with Kanna based products saying not to mix them with ssris. So be wary especially if you dont know what is in your neons...
 
Also just out of curiousity does anyone on here know anything about octopamine? I could find very little information on the net about its effect on humans apart from a brief wikipedia article.
 
I've mixed Neons with Alcohol and pot a few times recently at parties - quite an enjoyable combo for me. I take the neon (full dose - 2 caps) first, then about an hour after they kick in, I'll have a few drinks, usually mixed spirits or wine, then once the alcohol has kicked in, I'll smoke a spilff. Does the job nicely :)

The reason you were hungover has nothing to do with the legal highs. You were hungover because you were drinking alcohol - "This was after about 6 hours of solid drinking" these legals contain octopamines which will adversley affect the way your body metabolises alcohol.
 
^ The octopamine probably didn't help though; it probably contributed to the dehydration.

Do you have a cite for octopamine changing the metabolism of alcohol? And exactly what they are doing to alcohol? There is hardly any information out there regarding it, apart from it's dubious use as a weight loss aid, a few reports on it's effects on raising blood pressure and questions regarding it's role in humans.
 
As everyone else has said... Mixing is bad. Legal highs are bad enough on their own. I remember I had a legal matrix mystery cap. I didn't mix with alcohol or anything else. I ended up vomitting on the hour every hour for about 18 hours. It was difficult maintaining consciousness for the first six hours or so. I was ill for about 36 hours in total, had to take Monday off work (consumed Saturday night). I also got tonsillitis, which I suspect was from all the vomiting. Anyway, ive never had a bad reaction to anything illicit or even research chems. I've also never had to take time off work as a result of drug use. Anyway, if you're going to take them, please don't mix, especially with alcohol, I think the ones you mention have warnings on them not to mix them with alcohol. Being sober would be more fun in my opinion... but I like being sober :)
