Opioids Mixing Codeine and Dihydrocodeine?

I have a prescription for 240mg/day of Dihydrocodeine, but I can never make my weekly rx last longer than 5 days. Normally I just buy some loperamide and just deal with being uncomfortable for 48 hours or so. I managed to get 9 x 30mg Codeine Phosphate tablets.

My question is: if I take them together will they potentiate each other and therefor I get more overall benefit? I'm gonna make the pills last the seven days either way, I'm just wanting to get the most benefit out of them.

There's no potentiation value as they're very similar drugs. It would be akin to mixing cognac and wine. While potencies differ, they both work in the same manner.

I did both before togheter but it never seemed more than a good dhc experience, you could try using 220mg/day dhc and on the last two days use 135mg codeine+50 mg dhc/day. at least you won't feel that bad on the last two days
