mixing benzos

is it worth mixing benzos to achieve better effects.

i have diazepam,alprazolam and lorazepam.

should i mix and match or just take one or the other for maximum effectiveness?

alos a glass of wine and a few tokes on a spliff may do me good.......
 
Mixing benzo's can be very enjoyable, but you should use lower doses of each.
For example, if you normally take 2mg Xanax and 2mg Ativan then take 1mg of each to even it out.

Also, I don't advise drinking on benzos because it greatly increases CNS Depression and could also lead to a blackout very easily.

The weed, on the other hand, is VERY enjoyable when mixed with Benzos. If it were me, I'd probably take 2mg Xanax and 1mg Ativan and smoke a fat joint (this is my tolerance and is in no way a dose recommendation).

no my tolerance is the complete opposite.

a few tokes on a tiny skinny 'prison joint' could have me white!

yet so far ive taken 160mg diazepam and 70 mg alprazolam.over the course of 4 and 1/2 hours.

thinking about doing some lorazepam,going for a little walk and a few tokes on that 'prison joint'

what do you think?

IFIND THE lorazepam has a nice effect on me even though ive got such a high tolerance to benzos.

btw the glass of wine just made me feel drowzy so im now drinking some coffee.
 
... Are you serious? You've taken 160mg Diazepam and 70mg Alprazolam? Jesus christ, that would kill me INSTANTLY. Are you SURE you have the dosage right? I would think 70mg Xanax would kill even the most benzo tolerant person...

Smoking a joint would probably make you feel really nice, I would do it if I were you, but try not to leave your house, you've taken a shit load of benzos and I wouldnt be surprised if you walked infront of a speeding car LOL.

It's your choice, only you know your tolerance. I'd rather not suggest something then hear about you passing away in your sleep. 7mg Lorazepam and 160mg Diazepam is quite a high dose alone, so if it was me I would just smoke that joint and call it a night. The CNS Depression is probably getting pretty strong on your part so I would just avoid the Lorazepam.

Believe it or not but it wouldn't. Benzodiazepines are incredibly safe. It sure would be pushing it, for instance an extra glass of wine would probably put a very high tolerant person into an OD. A non-tolerant person would most likely OD though.

and the 10 mg of lorazepam has now been consumed,about 30 mins ago along with some other benzos (diaz,alpraz) which i wont divuldge,i have a very very high tolerance.

no im off for that joint.

will report back when im back frokm my walk/stagger.

Yeah, I know they're generally safe, but 70mg Alprazolam? That's a shit load to be taking at once. I know for sure I would end up needing to go to the hostpital, cause 10mg Lorazepam gets me knocked on my ass (can't walk, can hardly think, hard to breath).

Good to know you've stopped with the wine. Remember, 1mg Lorazepam is equal to 0.5mg Alprazolam, so you bassically just took another 5mg Alprazolam along with Diazepam. I would hold off on the benzos for the rest of the night if I were you.

All nagging aside, I hope you have a good time, and enjoy the joint ;)
 
Mixing benzos is (generally) fine. As K'd out mentioned, they are pretty damn safe (on their own). I'd advise you to not mix then with alcohol (though many people DO - in small doses) in the future. If you're concerned about mixing benzos with benzos, why are you find w/ mixing them with alcohol?

You know your tolerance, what you can handle. Reflect, and make a smart decision (next time, as this time has passed).

Its true thats a very high dose and most would OD but those with tolerances like daily consumption for multiple years would avoid a fatal overdose unless mixed with the smallest amount of alcohol. They sure would go into a powerful blackout though.

i made a mistake,it was 7mg NOT 70 mg.

joint was good,no anxiety just am now completely mashed 8)

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I like mixing benzos with weed. I usually take 2-3mg Lorazepam or 90-120mg Temazepam and smoke a joint. It takes all the anxiety and paranoia away that accompany the weed.
 
I have never experienced weed paranoia so sometimes low-dose benzos with weed have been pointless for me; the weed has "overpowered" the benzo to such an extent that I might as well have not taken that pill.
However, with higher doses it adds some very nice sedation and euphoria.
As for mixing benzos in general, I think that is a very good idea - each benzo has more of their different properties, and in my mind, all properties are quite favorable (unless you don't want hypnotic effects and don't wanna get too tired). But taking, say, 1mg of lorazepam and 1mg of alprazolam would probably be much better for me than 2mg of each.

Combine with small amounts of alcohol possibly (really, 2-3 beers and that's it) and shrink possible opioid doses if you're combining those.

But with benzos in general, I find mixing to be a good idea since they complement each other nicely.
 
I've actually taken 275 milligrams of methadone, 80 milligrams of Xanax aka 40 bars and I was fine and have done close to this amount in different variations multiple times and I wasn't even slurring my words so to each his own. I have no clue how my tolerance is so ridiculous but it is so when I read posts in here I feel like I'm a freak because I've relied on this site for years for good advice but the whole low Benzo tolerance thing I can not relate with especially mixing it with large doses of methadone. It baffles me it really does.
