Mixing amphetamines + benzos

Hi all,
I was wondering if it's at all dangerous and what the effects would be of mixing these two? Say, Adderall and Xanax, as the 2 mainstream ones.

I'm wondering about this for either recreational or valid uses; curiosity mostly. Would a pdoc ever prescribe this combo?

It takes alot of the nervousness out of the amphetamine, better to save it for the comedown unless you have plenty. It is safe and prescribed all the time.

^^^^Agreed. Unless you have a good stash of benzos save them for the comedown, that's why God made them. If you take too much speed and have a psychotic break or otherwise intense episode the ER is probably gonna give benzos to calm you down. That said, benzos go great with speed. They take the edge off as far as paranoia, tense muscles (depending on the benzo), and anxiety and make the overall experience more fun. I'd say there's little to worry about in the way of safety though, so have at it

And yes docs do prescribe this combo. I wouldn't really call it ethical in the long run, but I guess it's practical in the short term.
