Missed IV methadone....absorption rate?

I missed with about 50 cc's (5 mg) of liquid done and have a hell of a lump near the injection sight. Due to it's opioid chemical make-up it should still absorb subcutaneously right? Are there any dangers to worry about? Other than of course the fuckin wacked out ping pong ball under my skin...


Any comforting advice out there?
 
This is a really big potential problem. You would do well to seek medical care. You could be fine, but it's really not a chance that you want to take.

You are both correct and in fact the swelling as decreased by 50%, soreness has gone down, and I'm faded as an old paint job. So I think it does absorb SQ'ly

Still a very dangerous practice (IV'ing the liquid done). Please don't make a habit of it.
