this recently happened to me near the top part of my vein to the bottom right of my left hand. It kinda hurts right now(throbbing pain not sharp unless i twist or overextend/overuse the hand and it's been 30 minutes so maybe i'm thinking i hit a nerve?
)
anyone with any insight

Anyone? tried searching multiple bl archives but the only one i could find that was any help is that you can tell it's not an abscess if it forms right away, abscesses take at least 24 hours to form right?

Your guess is as good as mine, this was an accident right? You should be careful when IVing.

Snorting isn't exactly a safe option but it leaves little room for error.

You're almost certainly fine. You probably hit a nerve. The wrist is a shitty place to inject.

Just apply heat and give it a day or two you'll be fine, you missed a shot.

What mr scag said..

Also I suggest getting some neosporin , hydrogen peroxide , and alcohol swabs. The alcohol swabs for sanitizing the injection site before going in, and the neosporin to help healing and to prevent abscesses. There is also some neosporin cream that acts as a topical pain reliever which helps for missed shots.

The process should be swab with alcohol, do the shot(missed), hydrogen peroxide over missed shot and injection site, heat compress for 5-15mins, neosporin

If you're new to shooter, no reason to skip straight to hard mode. Everyone starts at the crook of their elbow for a reason, learn there and then you can start playing around with the more difficult spots.
