I was wondering if anyone knew if Mirtazapine/Remeron causes serotonin receptor downregulation like ssri's? Any info would be much appreciated!

It would likely cause receptor downregulation, but not to a significant extent as it seems the mode of action is simple antagonism. Only some receptors like 5ht2a downregulate in response to antagonists.

It is more likely that the broad spectrum antagonsim of serotonin/dopamine receptors would cause "traditional" blockade of psychedelic and empathogenic drugs while MAZ is still in your blood.
