Does this mean that mirtazapine could potentially produce a mild euphoria on its own? And would it be useful in potentiating opiates/opioids?

Not really. It's only such a small effect as to brighten your mood.

It won't be any kind of pleasurable high due to all the other possibly shitty feelings it may create with it's anti-depressant effects.

its very dose dependent as well
at low dosages, 7.5 - 30 or 45mg, mirtazipine is dominated but it anti-histamine effects - ie. puts you to sleep
but as you go higher on the dosage scale, 60+ mg, its effects at other receptors begin to dominate, 5-HT-2x, 5-HT-3, 5-HT-7, Alpha-1, Alpha2-x, m-acetocholine, etc... this is where its anti-depressant effects come into play.

It has nearly no functionality as a reuptake inhibitor for serotonin or dopamine so no euphoria from it in that pathway.

I've been taking it for nearly 2 weeks now and its fairly sedating at 15-30mg (only doses I've tried.) But its in no way similar to a benzo/opiate "tired."

There's no euphoria.
