Mimosa Extraction! Help!

Hi guys : ) !

First of all I'm new, I've read the rules and searched in the forums but did found nothin...

so, my doubt here is, would alcohol96º disolve the dmt placed in a mimosa hostilis powder by mixing them and let it rest ?

and by the way (not the forum, but is 4 not open 2 threads) alcohol96º can dissolve thc ? didnt found that clearly :S

Are you trying to make DMT? If you are then you'll get a better response in the psychedelics forum. Sorry if you're not, I don't really know what you're talking about.
 
Is not making dmt, is just, making an extract ? i dont know in english how to say it haha

just want to know if dmt-substances (isnt mdma likely dmt?) are soluble in alcohol : ) !
 
Look up the "Marsofold TEK" if you want to extract DMT properly.

If you are trying to extract dmt from mimosa hostills, you cannot just mix alcohol (i presume you mean ethanol) with bark and let it rest. there are certain steps...

You can look-up various teks on dmt-nexus and other sources
 
I would suggest that you research the various published teks and do the one that seems most comfortable for your skill level. There are A/B teks and STB teks... I find the latter to be simpler, especially with MHRB.

Alcohol will not release the DMT from the plant matter.

True, alcohol is no good for DMT extraction...
Alcohol will however dissolve THC, I did not use normal ethanol for that myself but isopropanol (isopropyl alcohol, IPA, rubbing alcohol).

For Mimosa extraction you either boil in acidic water (basis for A/B tek) or shake with alkaline water (basis for STB tek) as a first step. Search the DMT nexus for those teks.

IVE GOT YOUR ANSWER

no. you want to use naptha or xylene. get galon sized glass jug. first lye water (10 &1/2 cups h2o, 1/2 cup NaOH). second 250g mimosa. third 1 inch of naptha or xylene or toluene. shake. shake shake shake ya bootay. kidding. just the jar. its optional really. let it sit. two layers. take first (top) layer and dry.

I think you are missing a couple steps from your recipe. You need to use white vinegar / water solution (on medium heat with the Mimosa bark mixed in, chopped up as finely as you can manage... powder mimosa is a mess to deal with except for small batches) to pull the DMT from the bark in the first place.

Then you take that juice and put it in a jug, and repeat the first step another few times to get all the DMT juice out.

Then in the jugs you have to add some NaOH water. So make sure you only fill the jugs like 3/4 of the way with the Mimosa juice. Add NaOH until your brown juice turns black and don't add any more than that.

Then add Naptha.. something like an inch or a little more to that.

Put the jugs in a bathtub filled with hot water so your black mimosa juice and Naptha get pretty warm. Then tip the jars up and down lots of times... put back in the tub and wait like 10 minutes. Then shake the jars so the Naptha gets all up in there, you want it to touch as much of the black juice as possible. Then wait until the Naptha is all floated to the top and almost totally clear.

Then pour or suck off the Naptha and put it in a Pyrex tray. Now put *more* Naptha in the jar because you want to do at least 3 pulls like that, so repeat the last steps.

Once you've collected all the Naptha and put it in a Pyrex tray, put that in your freezer overnight or for at least 12 hours. You should now see DMT crystals on the bottom of the Pyrex. Pour off the Naptha, scrape off your DMT, and let it dry.

Keep the Naptha you pour off because it still has some DMT in it, and you can use it to do more pulls, or you can evaporate it and collect some probably more waxy DMT. The DMT that forms crystals on the bottom of your Pyrex should have been white or very close to white if you did a good job.

edit: This is basically the Marsofold Tek (AB/AB) which IME and IMO is the cleanest method of getting the cleanest DMT. I've never seen any STB-extracted DMT which was as clean as Marsofold Tek'd DMT.

All the Yellow and Orange DMT you see is STB. Chances are if you find sparkling white snowflake DMT it was extracted AB/AB
