OK, so here's the deal:

I used to be a bad heroin addict years ago. Been off the stuff for years, however I dabble with pills. Lately I've has been taking hydrocodone daily, and is planning on cutting them off. My tolerance is very minimal-talking 30 mg to catch a good buzz. Despite the low dose, I can still spot an opiate w/d from a mile away due to heroin history. Does anyone know of any good remedies/ideas to help with mild withdrawal symptoms? I appreciate it!

We don't use "SWIM" here. Every one knows it's you lol. Anyways there are lots of great tips on here.. Loperamide, dxm, Kratom etc.

You could try using loperamide (immodium) Make sure you get the small tablets, not the ones for multi symptom. You didn't mention for how long you have been taking hydrocodone? Anyway, when the withdrawals start use some immodium maybe 4-8 mg depending on your distress level. Just don't go crazy with them and you should feel much better.

Another thing you might find useful if you have any on hand, some sort of benzo at night so you can sleep. You might not have much of an appetite, but make sure you keep yourself hydrated. (I removed the Swim because we don't use that term here) Welcome to Bluelight!
