Mild opiate withdrawal

I took 60 mg morphine every day for around a week. Nothing too serious. But still I feel pretty shitty after stopping. I had problems with heroin before but I've stopped since. It's been 3 days that I've felt like this. How much longer can I expect to feel like this, since it's more mild
 
I generally feel better on the fourth day, although Suboxone keeps me from repeating the dope sickness. 60 mg's daily for 7 days isn't going to rattle your shit for weeks on end. Those first three days are fucking miserable on some serious DT's.

I really hope it eases up for you soon, been there too many times and it fucking sucks. If you have access to bupe, it works wonders. I was so dopesick one time I actually went and did the Immodium thing. It actually helped some, I was shocked.

But after a good 72 hours and just 7 days of using 60 mg's, you should be on the rebound very soon. Good luck!

Thanks for that. I've read up a lot but I couldn't find anything on my specific experience since it's so mild. But damn it still sucks.
 
I've never been a believer in the 3 day kick but you really weren't on a very big dose of morphine for very long.But have you noticed that when you first start using dope it takes a while to get a habit but if you get clean then re-start it seems that it takes no time at all before you're dependant again?It's like your body remembers or something.Also keep in mind that you develope a habit on morphine much quicker than with heroin,at least in my experience.That being said,you're probably looking at a couple weeks before you're back to normal.Good thing you stopped when you did or it would be longer and more intense.With 60 mg daily for that short time your withdrawls shouldn't be anything a hand full of benzos and some booze can't handle.At least that's been my experience with similar situations over the years.Good luck with your kick.You should be feeling alright pretty soon.

NOT TRUE, me and ALL my junkie friends have discovered this catch with heroin addiction that crosses over to other opiates as well. For ME and EVERYONE I know personally, IRL, that have at one time or another been PHYSICALLY addicted to heroin, if they/I get clean for whatever amount of time and then end up using ANY amount of opiates THREE days in succession, we go through mild withdrawal affects. Sure it's not vomiting and shitting and near deathness but it is still uncomfortable and fucks with your christmas... so... it's not unheard of. I went 2 years clean, made .4 of heroin last 3 days, 4th day I had no dope and I was yawning up a storm, eyes all watery, cold chills/goose bumps, no appetite, antsy, clammy hands. So.... you are not alone
 
You'll be fine....eat a benzo for sleep if you need, go lay out in the sunshine, eat well and stay hydrated...
 
I forgot to mention this previously,but it's always a good idea to keep a little suboxone on hand if you're gonna be dipping and dabbing with opiates.Believe me,it'll save your ass.At the OPs level and length of use he/she could have taken as little as 2mg a day for 4 or 5 days and be fine.Definitely something you want to keep handy if you play with old opie.

Yeah I was at a level where I was sick enough that I didn't want to go out but not sick enough to really try too hard to get subs. It's day 4/5 and Im feeling better. Seems like it's passing.
