Benzos Midazolam Addiction/withdrawl help!

Hey guys,

my first post here

I have had lots of fun in the past with zolpediem (stilnox), dormicum, weed , mushrooms etc etc....anyways I am super scared about getting addicted so I always did it once and had atleast a months break then I could have fun again (i have eaten a hole box of stilnox before, who needs 3D TV's??? shit was coming out the screen was insane!)

Anyways, I am currently working in Lagos Nigeria and its boiling hot here, getting eaten by mosqito's all day and night. I need a really comfortable place to sleep otherwise I really struggle to sleep. So I went to the supermarket here and got myself a box of Midazolam (dormicum) 15mg. I have taken 2 pills a night for the past 4 nights (so 8 pills = 120MG total) and im starting to get worried about withdrawel.



My question is, if I stop now will I get withdrawel? I am here for 3 more days then I get home, I have my own plants at home and a vaporiser and have been using my weed to get me to sleep for the past 6 Months. Obviosly I couldnt bring my weed along but benzo's you can buy anywhere here, I can get midazolam, stilnox, rohypnol all over the counter here, its pretty funny actually...I cant believe how easily accesable this stuff is here.

Anyways, im starting to get worried about addiction and withdrawl, last time I took my benzo's was about 20 hours ago, I feel fine but i know 20 hours aint that much.

First Question) Curiosity - Forum says you registered in 2009 yet it's your first post?

Second Question) Just bought Midazolam off the shelf?! Word.

Third Question) Afaik 15mg of Midazolam is equipotent to 20mg Diazepam... so that's 40mg Diazepam per night for 4 days, maximum 7... It's very unlikely you'll suffer from real withdrawal symptoms after just 7 days use MAX. (though 15mg per night is a reasonably high dose). Throwing round terms such as 'addiction' is a little heavy-handed for 4 days use... Perhaps a little rebound insomnia/agitation. You'll live to tell the tale.

yep I registered in 2009, but never posted, I have used this site a shitload , read loads of threads....as I said im pretty scared of getting addicted. this site has helped me avoid addiction.

Well, they dont have shelves here....was off a table actually...but ye, this place is backwards.


30MG per night. ye its super high, I take it....feels like im super stoned, then boom I wake up fresh in the morning. But Im getting worried now about withdrawl.

Oh right okay - crazy that you can do that. I whinge about not being able to have what I want when I want but it's probably best that most drugs of use are scheduled. If my corner shop started selling midazolam next to the candy I think I'd be in a mess... we all would!

May I ask what midazolam's like? I've tried many benzo's and Z-drugs but never midazolam. It's usually used to induce general anesthesia so I can imagine it's quite hypnotic? Surprising that you wake up feeling fresh. That's good though. I think similar hypnotic benzos like Temazepam don't disturb REM sleep so people often find they have a good quality sleep... not just a KO-sleep and can't function the next day.

It might sound stupid to you, you may be a lovely person and never even think of it... I don't know you so I'm just saying... But if that thoughts ever crossed your mind, to use instead of the Zolpidem or carry on using for sleep... just think of the consequences before you get on the return flight. Possession of a small quantity of valium in your home state/country is one thing. Attempting to smuggle Midazolam is another.

hmm ok how can I describe it.

Orgasmic, honestly....you start feeling really horny, and super duper comfortable....then it feels like your brain is getting disconnected from your body. It becomes impossible to open your eyes or move your body (If i really really wanted to I guess I could but it feels super difficult to do). you start feeling waves of "electricity" going through your body. It then starts to feel like you are sinking into your mind....you can speak to yourself and your thoughts are clear but your physical self starts to dissapear , it becomes really cool when you "loose" your hearing....kind of like when you plug your ears with your fingers... It is super awsome....only problem is, this lasts for maybe 5-10 minutes and then you wake up in the morning. I wish I could just stay at that point for a few hours.Thats the problem with this drug, you can enjoy it for only 10 minutes max then your asleep.

I find it best to take it with a small meal, to slow down the absorbtion a bit so you can stay awake and try fight the effects, obviosly you wont win but I have always found it amazing how you cant control your own body.

Once asleep I have the wierdest dreams ever, sometimes they awsome sometimes they suck. Last night I dreamt that my teeth were falling out??? and I woke up this morning and my jaw was pretty sore...must have been grinding my teeth, I need to get a bight plate. This happens to me rarely when I sleep but is not because of the dormicum, I grind my teeth anyways, but this time It manifested itself into a bit of a nightmare....wasent the best dream. Othertimes I have dreamt I could fly.....and this is awsome......driving fast cars etc etc....dreams are really cool, also dreaming of sex, thats my favorite too

However, the next night, if I dont take it again, it becomes impossible for me to fall asleep, the next night im up all night and the next day I usually suffer from sleep deprivation....but then its all good.
I know what its like after a single night...now im worried because I have taken it for 4 nights......I know that tonight i wont sleep and tommorow is gonna suck balls. unless I decide to take it for 2 more days and when I get home I will have my weed for me. But I know that is a stupid thing to do, rather suffer now with only 4 nights of abuse than 6 or 7 nights.

Not atall Ill take some back with me, a box or two...if they decide for whatever reason to search ill tell them the truth.....are they seriosly going to jail me for a box of midazolam? I got nothing to hide, I went to this godforsaken place, needed sleep because mosqito's the size of cats were eating me and I needed sleep!...have a heart!!!:D

Hey guys,

So i went back to the market here and asked them for help, they gave me Quetiapine said I should take 150mg just for the night (1 and a half tablets). I was flippen floating in mid air. I never managed to fall asleep well but being awake wasent that bad either...it was real fun but thats it. no more drugs. I feel like I dodged a bullet this time.

This morning im still feeling pretty "drugged" but i shouldnt have any rebound or withdrawels from this stuff now.

theres no way you would really withdraw off of 4 days of drug use

if im not mistaken, midazolam is commonly used alongside other drugs for anesthesia in the USA. Sounds like a useful drug...
