Meyers-Briggs and psychoactive drugs

I test as an INTJ most often, but others attribute me to be an ENTJ
well then you DO fit into the system, as "AsterixNTJ". :)

"Asterix" means borderline/either way for that particular variable and some people have more than one "Asterix". even if someone is "AsterixAsterixAsterixAsterix", i bet there are correlations amongst that population group!

(by Asterix i mean the symbol. the browser seems to be having trouble posting it)

Sort of. When a type points to a series of functional preferences, it becomes harder to understand what being in the middle on one dimension would mean.
However, INTJs and ENTJs both favor the same 4 functions, but in a rearranged order.

I would be MOST interested in the proofs for these!>>

They're probably similar to how You + sober = INTJ.

Very interesting thread...

As I always make it clear, I have a love-affair with Ketamine and I hate MDMA.

The former makes everything feel "normal" while the latter is too much of everything. I am extremely empathetic as-is, MDMA burns me out real fast.

That said, I have found thatmy INFP-ness never really changes on drugs. Even if I get close to INTP on psychedelics, the F part will always take precedence because the way I feel is more important than what I'm thinking about. That is why I am actually not too comfortable with psychedelics, because my trips tend to get extremely emotionally-volatile.

I wish I knew more about the typologies so I could go deeper into this. (I am reading more about them as we speak).

This makes me your (comic) foil. I'm already robotic enough that dissociatives push me to the point where I don't have strong enough emotions to enjoy the drug.

MDMA and dissociatives both inspire fearful and fascinated awe in me, but for different reasons. I find myself picking my sets and settings for either one VERY carefully these days.

Lol ebola.

MDAO: I would agree about setting wrt empathogens (that is, if I ever take any again, highly unlikely). But dissociatives? Since the Ketamine effect ultimately negates everything in existence, setting is negated as well, and is therefore unimportant to me. That is why I took Ketamine in the funniest of setting, such as my workplace (a Japanese junior high school)*, a train (my favourite setting for K!), or a wedding (because I can't stand these things. I'm there in body but that's about it). hehe.

I think K should gel well with any IN** types because it negates that distraction from self-observation that we call the world. =D

* Don't try this unless you feel more comfortable with the K minspace than you are with sobriety!! Other wise you'll get fired ;).

Has anyone actually tried taking the test while on different types of drugs? I would be interested to see what the altered results would be.

I am an INFP and my drug of choice is easily k and nitrous. For this reason: :)
