"I do not wish my online identity to be known, for with all the sketchiness recently, you never know what could happened if you open your mouth and say something you wish you hadn’t! Anyway, this last summer my friend and myself made the trip across the Mexican border. I am a 19-year-old female, and my friend is a 22-year-old male that, well, he just kind of eats all the food in my house and watches ESPN all day! While very different in most ways, there was one this we both loved, and that is pharmaceuticals. Sadly the scene in Fort Worth sucks, so we decided to make the trip across the border ourselves and bring back some goodies of our own, hell, it might even be a way to make a fast buck if all goes well!
So off to Mexico we went. This was going to be our spring break trip for the year (this is in like March 2001). So what better place to go then Tijuana! There were drunken college kids everywhere, but that was not our interest, for you se, we wanted the big, huge bags of hard narcotics you hear about on TV. So we drove around until we found a pharmacy, oh, an important point about driving in Mexico is that your US insurance is no good, but you can buy valid Mexican insurance for about $10 a day. People in Mexico all drive like they are Spanish! Hehe.
Well, it didn’t take long, as the streets are LITERALLY covered with pharmacies. Huge neon lights saying “DRUGS”, “FARMICA”, and crap like that. So we got out and went into the first shop, pulled out a Mexican note that was worth about $3 in the US, and asked the pharmacist for “Valium, 10mg VAL-YOU-UM” (saying it as though the pharmacist didn’t know perfect English). With that I was asked, “How many do you want? And I assume you want the 10mg tabs? Roche will cost you more then the other generics”! Wow! It’s like fast food, except instead of “want fries with that?” they ask you what dose you’d like! For around $20 (US) we got 90 10mg Valiums. They were not Roche, but there were in a blister-pack, so that right there assured us good profits. We could sell 10 and have the other 80 for ourselves! What a good spring break this was looking like!
We basically repeated the process all over. In every pharmacy they spoke English (like PhreeX said) and it was a no-hassle deal. You didn’t have to come in trying to fake a panic attack, they would just sell you whatever you wanted! We soon got tired of benzos after we had around 700 pills and wanted to see if we could find any amphetamines. At the first couple pharmacies we were tuned down, and suddenly they didn’t seem to speak English. After hunting for almost a half hour (that means walking to about 10 different ones). We finally found a pharmacy willing to help, while they wouldn’t sell us the pills OTC, we did have to walk further then the back of the store to see the “doctor” who asked in his broken English “what is it you want?”. I replied “Amphetamine or methmphetamine tabs”. He took $25 US dollars from me and I had a script for 60 Anfetamin tabs (each had 5mg amphetamine sulfate).
That same pharmacy sold us several vials of ketamine solution too – they didn’t even ask for a prescription, they just sold us some weird looking vials. Our plan to get it back in the US was easy, we were clean cut white kids, so we would just drive back with it in a duffle bag, on the floor, the passengers legs on it. It sounded good, but once we got to the border they quickly asked to look inside the bag, saw the dope. No I am sweating bullets, but as it turned out they only took the drugs and sent us on our way. The “90 day supply” thing doesn’t work the way you think it does. Basically you cannot go to a Mexican doctor to get dope then legally bring it back in the US, at least that was the case with us. They didn’t give a shit that we HAD the prescriptions, because we were AMERICANS and the prescriptions were not from AMERICAN doctors. Hey, at least we didn’t get arrested, and they didn’t bother to check the car at all, they only looked in the bag. The total loss was about $200 in benzos, and amphetamines."
