Alright, good to hear.
34-40 grams would on average yield 3.4-4 grams dry... but it is possible that you end up with less if during cultivation there were techniques used to make the mushrooms take up exceedingly large amounts of water. This gives you nice big shrooms but it does not actually make them more potent. If all that water is then removed through drying, you would probably just end up with the same dry amount you would end up with if those cultivation techniques hadn't been used. Anyway don't worry about that, what matters is that yours are dry and it allows you to gauge a dose nicely, although there is still the problem that they are natural products with varying potency.
FYI there is a way to avoid this: if you ever get a large batch of dry mushrooms, you can grind and powder them as fine as possible and then mix them. This homogenizes your batch making every dose more equally potent. The better grinded and mixed, the more equal it should be. That way the strength of your trip gets more predictable after you have done some trial doses with the batch.
I guess that is more info than you asked for, so let me close this. If there are more questions you can use the mushroom subthreads (there are ones on a number of specific topics), via the OP in the Big & Dandy Mushroom thread. Use the Index to find it.
Or, you can PM a mod if closing this does not agree with you.
