I am curoius to find out of anyone has tried testing methylphenidate with the marquis reagent.
If so what was the colour change?

Hey there, am going to move this to the pill testing forum. Could you go there and add a bit to the thread and explain to us what methylphenidate is?

methylphenidate = Ritalin. Erowid summed it up well...
Ritalin (methylphenidate) does contain an amphetamine-like backbone, however it is more complex. Take a look at the difference in Chem-Compare. The additional structures on this molecule also alter its interaction with the body and the neurons in our brains. Methylphenidate is reported to have less euphoric effects (some people describe it as 'more dull') than methamphetamine, but every individual is unique in their reaction to psychoactives, so no statement is universally true. While similar in backbone structure, amphetamine, methamphetamine, and ritalin are all quite unique drugs, with somewhat similar, but distinct, effects.
though i haven't tried it yet i might go do it now. if i remember i'll post results. sorry but very busy today

Soma's right, better suited to pill testing so I've moved it.......

I use ritalin 3 times a day (I have been diagnosed ADD for adults) Methylpenidate Hydrocloride test a milky orange but only just, this may be because of the active chemical methylphenidate, dont take this unless you are prescribed it, basically it just wont work unless you have ADD, trust me, I have been using now for over 10 years
