Methyl Methaqualone legality Oz

Thanks for posting that, interesting read!

Methaqualone is in that list, but not it's methylated brother. I still say that it's covered by the analogues laws though.

Mmm...they have some of the fentanyl analogues I'm interested in on that list...
 
even if it aint on the list you still need to prove it is for legit research purposes! The authorities can asses very quickly if you just intend to 'get high'......and with that you are gone!

Thinking that you can sneak things through a loop hole is simply naive

honest question, when was it wrong to obtain a substance that helps you get 'high'

if it is illegal, well that is a violation of freedom if i ever heard it. faark.
 
The 'pharmacologically similar' piece of analogue legislation recently introduced into Qld has potential to be interpreted this way, e.g. a substance which is metabolised the same as an illicit drug, or has similar target receptors, or produces an effect similar to an illicit drug, could, by any of these actions, be deemed illicit.

It will be very interesting to see if this legislation will hold up in court. If a precedent is set, you can betcha boots any compound that get's you high would be effectively covered.
 
too close of a ccall, you may not want to be the one to set a prescedent.

also, inmnsho opinion, the doses posted are waaay too high, the compound is stronger than the unmethylated comp to a significant degree, for those experimenting on ther lab rats, do be cautious.
 
^ Really? Over in the Advanced Drug Discussion they've been talking about methyl methaqualone as not being as strong as it's been hyped to be.

thats interesting. especially the " similar target receptors" bit. I was watching a news program and they were talking about a new weight loss medication that may be available in the near future and they mentioned serotonin and dopamine receptors. i wonder

Lots of prescription drugs target those receptors and other receptors that are also targeted by illicit drugs. The 'similar target receptors' bit in the analogues legislation is just something thrown in there to make their legislation cover everything.

As far as I know barbiturates are only prescribed in veterinary practices now. For human use, they have been replaced by the benzodiazepines due to the higher safety margins and lower abuse risks.
 
I have some trip reports on it.

doesnt seem to work if you have eaten food. if you have not eaten food dosage varies from use to use. my tests showed :
100mgs and its too much,
80mgs = nothing,
90mgs = too much
85mgs = too much.
75mgs = too much.
50mgs = nothing

gave up on it.
