Methoxetamine and norepinephrine release?

In Psychedelic Drugs, it was suggested that, because of its effects on heart rate and blood pressure, along with other seemingly stimulatory effects, methoxetamine might cause the release of norepinephrine, and hence stimulation of alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors, in a way similar to amphetamines.

I really know next to nothing about pharmacology, but I do know that beta-blockers are potentially dangerous in combination with drugs that exhibit this sort of adrenergic effect, and I would like to determine whether or not there would be any complications with beta-blockers and MXE. Can anyone speculate as to whether or not methoxetamine would in any way cause the release of adrenergic neurotransmitters?
 
it doesn't feel very noradrenergic (try ethcathinone or amphetamine for adrenergic vibes) but the release or the reuptake of dopamine will eventually lead to noradrenergic effects as dopamine breaks down into noradrenaline. i have a feeling that methoxetamine has an effect on serotonin (which is where the rumours of "opiate warmth" began). it was known to cause a fatal interaction with mdai overdose.

dopamine= stimulatory/ increase heart rate and blood pressure (mdpv anyone?)
 
If it works similar to methamphetamine then it is highly toxic but if it is an NMDA antagonist, DRI (DA reuptaked inhibitor) then its decently safe depending on its ligand efficacy (strength) and dosage. Dopamine doesn't break down into noradrenaline. It shares the same catecholamine homovanillic acid metabolite and can be reuptaked by the NET though. A lot of speculation goes on about experimental chemicals but until they are tested there is only so much someone can tell you.
 
Ketamine has the same cardiostimulant qualities, I think it is from its action as a dopaminergic/DRI.

The ketoarylcyclohexylamines (MXE and ket) are not amphetamine replacements by any means. Nor do they have profound activity at norepinephrine reuptake inhibition/release like the amphetamines do.
