At long last I eventually got to try the title compound and oh was it worth waiting for. Imagine a dissociative state, with the scary bits removed and less confusion and there you have it. 25mg IM produced a state that I can only describe in terms of mythology - this is the perfumed garden, the sirens singing - you get the picture. I even managed to watch (well listen might be a better description) an episode of 'Chuck' and understand it from the first off - I spent half the time with my eyes closed in a state of bliss

Anyway the chronology

00:00 - Made a sterile soln of 25mg of title compound and IMed it

00:05 - warmth surrounding me, very scattered thoughts

00:10 - all the smptoms of the cold I'm suffering from dissapate, start watching television, not particularly bothered by whats on, but it's entertaining enough

00:20 - This is bliss (& where the timekeeping goes all to hell). Chai with honey tastes unbelievable, it's helping my sore throat, or is it the drug? Who cares! Half an hour ago I was in a state of abject misery from a cold, now I'm on a magoc carpet ride. Music sounds great (after Chuck I stuck some chilled out tunes on and just drifted away)

01:30 Starting to return to baseline, but the afterglow is amazing. The symptoms of the cold are returning, but with a much diminished impact. No desire to redose, just to bask in the afterglow

All in all, it doesn't produce a hole as such, but the state it does produce is every bit as valuable as a K hole. Depression is gone (from cold - viruses always kick off a mini depressive fit) and the world actually looks brighter. Nowhere near the same amount of motor dysfunction as ketamine (I made a cup of chai, almost impossible if I'd had ket) and nowhere near the degree of confusion. If I had to sum it up in a few words, I'd say that it is to dissociatives what MDA is to psychedelics, similar, but not the same; less freaky and absolute bliss

In the words of George Peppard's character from the A-Team,"I love it when a plan comes together!" =D

Nice report. :)

THe compound is ketamine but with the N-methyl substituted for N-ethyl and 2-chloro for 3-methoxy? 3-methoxy because of potential extra affinity to opioid receptors?

fastandbulbous,

There are few posters on BL which I enjoy reading as much as you. Very nice.

This compound sounds like an interesting mix of the structural features found in ketobemidone, bromadol, and ketamine.

Did you experience any significant respiratory depression?

None - didn't even suppress my coucgh from the cold I presently have.
. I thought of ketobemidone while I was under the influence!

BTW the antidep[ressant afterglow is still going strong & I still haven't had the urge to redose (although I will tonight when I try my remaining dose with a dose of DPT). There must be a downside to all this, but I'm yet to find it!

i envy you with all your obscure dissociative experiments.

when can i start experimenting with things i cant pronounce?

seriously though. thanks for bringing this to our attention.
sounds like a great compound.

What is it most closely related to? (i know nill of chemistry)

somewhere between ketamine and tramadol (to keep it simplish).
but seemingly with the properties of both.
Opiate and disosiative in one.
