Hey thought this would be a question for you guys who know about drug metabolism and stuff.

i've been prescribed 7.5mg methotrexate for my psoriasis, i know its a big no no to drink on this because it will damage my liver, what other drugs should be avoided? I know opiates are ok but I'd really like to be able to take acid/other trips and uppers... what is safe?

Many thanks

i'd second benzos being ok.

hope you won't have to take methotrexate for long, as it's pretty nasty stuff.

Methotrexate is indeed nasty stuff, causes faults in DNA replication (like the inclusion of uracil into the reproiduced strand). Isn't corticosteroid treatment enough for your psoriasuis - it's all mine needs to beat it into submission

no my psoriasis is very severe, flares up occasional. uv-b treatment works but im im only in bangkok for a month so need it to work really quickly apparently this will help.

any idea is k will be ok to take with it im a big k head... its new years and i want to get off my face! if lsd is ok i presume brdfly is ok too

this is low dose short term treatment, 4 weeks max

hmm k is also metabolized by the liver (hepatic??) so i guess this is a no no too.

Hey, I was on anywhere from 7.5 mg to 20mg of methotrexate for a period of 4 months. During that time I took DMT, pot, and DXMwith no adverse effects.

Fastandbulbous- Methotrexate is nasty, but corticosteroids are just as bad... they screw with your appetite, your mood, and adrenals. Also a terrible drug to use repeatedly.

To the OP- Please consider diet as an option to treat the psoriasis. Like eating raw/vegan and removing any foods that may trigger flare-ups. There is a lot of strong anecdotal evidence for the effectiveness of this method.
