my last trip out to oregon i had to clean out my grandpas house as he was moving and i realized he left years old medications which was lots of opioids (mainly hydrocodone) and there was also a bottle of methocarbamol which is a muscle relaxer so i did a lot of it in order to save the some of the hydrocodone so i didnt waste it all
i remember i felt mildly relaxed after taking 4500-5000 mg

i was Rx’d it from my pain doc for a month or two when trialing muscle relaxers. i was only on like 750 3x a day, never took that high of a dose. i’d be cautious at that high of a dose, tho it is a relatively safe drug. i didn’t see much recreational value in it. the first day or two i was on it i definitely noticed some general sedation and it was physically and mentally relaxing. made my muscles feel like jelly. it worked well as a muscle relaxer for me, but it gave me very frequent and bad headaches while i was on it so i didn’t stay on it for long. it’s “recreational” effects were similar to that of gabapentin, but much weaker.

i can definitely see mild recreational potential if you don’t have anything else. my body adjusted to the med (and consequently the mild buzz) pretty quick tho so it wouldn’t be much good (outside of it’s intended medical use) for very long.

It’s not recreational at all for me, but it really helps with back spasms. The therapeutic index is really broad.

No rec value at all its otc here in Canada. All it did was give me bad nausea
