I have recently been offered a white powder which has been termed as 'meth' but my dealer keeps calling it methadrine too. Is there a difference and if not why is the powder white when if it is meth it should be more like crystals?
Any info would be great. Thanks.
 
Methedrine was the name given to meth in the 60's (moreover, it was the name givn to injectible powder, not the smokeable shit)...back than everyone knew amphetamines by having a -dine on the end...dexedrine...benzedrine...methedrine...
Weird that he would call it that, though.
 
I've done a bit of reseach and come up with a diffrence, Methadrine was the term for methlyamphetamine, is there a difference between this and normal methamphetamine?
Any info would be great before I try the stuff.
 
methlyamphetamine is methamphetamine. Its just another name you can call it.
 
To be nitpicky, it's methylamphetamine, not methlyamphetamine. Meth is short for methyl, both refer to a CH3 group.
 
Yeah, so in short methedrine=crystal.
Just out of curiosity did you get it? How was it?
IT would just weird me out to buy from a guy using a 40 year old term for it...
 
The stuff feels quite good, I had a bump and did feel a little effect. I'm concerned though because it doesnt look like crystal, I've had that before and, well its obvious. Its a fine white powder which leaves a slight smear on a mirror when cut into a bump. It is the strongest wizz I've had though, could it just be very strong normal amphetamine?
 
It could be either. Most drugs, if they were pure and you let them sit long enough while recrystallizing, would be big clear crystals just like meth shards. You could have 100% pure meth powder -- for example if you just crushed up crystal really finely! -- or glasslike amphetamine shards.
What you have is probably meth, just because that's more prevalent in the US.

I'm not I'm in the UK, I've got a gram of the stuff an to be honest I just think its v.strong base, thanks for the info though. Shame really, I fancied some meth.
