i have been taking oxycodone for the last year everyday. I started taking methadone 4 days ago. Tapering down 5 mgs a day from 20 to 10 yesterday. I dont want to take it anymore so I took 10 mgs of valium to help w/ds. Could it be dangerous if I was to take 10 mg again this evening since the halflife of the methadoe will be around 5 to 10 mgs still?

no I would say your good, but only if your really hurting. Instead of 10, go with 5mg

I would't think so with a tolerance like that, and 10mgs valium is a relatively low dose. But if you're worried try a benzo with a shorter half life like Xanax if you have it, it's more powerful and does more for anxiety than other benzos. Should be fine with the valium though, just don't drink or take anything else obv.
^ and yeah only if you really need it. It's better to just knock yourself out with antipsychotics and not take the drugs with recreational potential while WDing.
