Opioids Methadone user how much does Tramadol potentate MMT?

Im on 130mg methadone a day for a few years and sometimes I run low I can get tramadol but never had it before. How much does it potentate the high (ex: reduce methadone by double the dose?)

IMO tramadol is worthless if your on methadone, especially if you're on a dose as high as 130mg. Tramadol's opioid activity is just barely stronger than codeine. I doubt that you would feel any effect or reliefe from using it. Perhaps you may get a slight stimulation from it's SNRI properties though I doubt it. Also, the maximum dosage of tramadol that is safe to take is somewhere around 400mg, though this can be effected of you are on other medications (especially antidepressants). Dosing too high can cause seizures and seretonin syndrome.

Totally not worth it in my oppinion my friend. It's time to face the facts, your opiate receptors are saturated and there ain't no way in hell that tramadol is going to potentiate your meth in any noticeable way.
 
Really? Well, I guess everyone's sensitivity to it is different. It is true that tramadol is a unique opioid, but when I was on 110mg, I remember taking 300mg of tramadol and feeling nothing at all.
 
Can you be more descriptive of how it felt? Was it mostly the stimulating part?
 
Be careful with that. I know no one wants to hear that but mixing methadone and tramadol, propoxyphene or meperdine can cause a very dangerous rise in long-acting toxic metabolites. I tried eating a bunch of tramadol while on methadone and it made me feel dope sick as hell. Granted I am on MMT so my blood levels of methadone were really high at the time. I don't think there is a methadone-benzo OD type risk but more of an actual physical harm type risk from poisoning. Sorry....didn't mean to be Buzz Killington. Now, would anyone like to hear how penny loafers got their name? :-p

Nopr doesnt cause withdrawls. Its simpke rather...tram CANT be take on an empty stom. If u do, no matter how used to the tram u are, then u wilk be sick vomitting headache cold hot sweats very similar to witudrawls. So this is y so many people blame the tram as causing withdrawls with do e but its so simple. Do t believe me then give it a try for urself. Everyone is diff for sure. And i can tell u that dones do not block or cause wdrawls with tram i 99percent of people. So eat damn food the kid in this post said he hasnt had solid foods for days well no wondr y. Once u start the tram o an empty stom forgrt about it...ur not gonna be able to keep food down and will feel sick til u sleep it off n it pssses. So simply eat goood size meak before takint trams every md is diff so are persons. But tram isnt like other opiods that u can get away with taking on empty stomach the eating later. Its either u eat good size meal b4 or right rigt after the tram or else ur gonna be puking up stom acid and will have a banging headache for 12 hrs
