Methadone tampering/witddraw

What would you guys recomend to help me for methadone tampering ? Currently tampering my dose ( went from 130mg to 100 ) and im on 100mg for last month. I only take 1 gabapentin 300mg every day , 2 colagen tablets natural made and 1 tablet of magnesium. Even if for now im good i know that while ill keep tampering it wont to much anymore so this is why im asking for some help . My biggest issue is the retless leg sindrome wich is killing me . Waiting for a support guys

I can only speak from my experience mate, but the slower you taper, the easier it will be.

First of all, you need to stop the gabapentin and any other psychoactives you may be taking.

Then reduce your methadone by no more than 5mg/month until you get to around 30mg/day (with no cheating).

Then reduce by 2mg/month until you get to 10mg/day

Then refuce by 1mg/month until you get to zero.

It's a long haul, but doing it this way is relatively painless and before you know it, you'll forget you even needed the stuff.

First of all thank you for the message , second regarding the gabapentin,is it a problem taking them this way? I keep hearing about gaba related to detox processes and thats why i kept taking it

Yeh, gabapentin and pregabalin can help fend off withdrawals in an emergency, but if you're serious about tapering off the methadone, then they're more of a hindrance.

Plus, the gabaergics just turn you into a fat cunt
