Does anyone here have any experience with methadone treatment in Berlin or Paris? I will be relocating to one of these two cities in the next 6 months for work and have been on methadone for over 10 years. I currently only have to go to my local clinic every month, and I’m trying to find out the following:
(1) referrals for good clinics or GPs allowed to prescribe
(2) information on rules for take-home doses (how does it work)
(3) any experiences people from the US have with transferring their care to one of these cities?
I’ve already done this with London once and it was such a wildly different experience and I’m hoping to get this set up long before I have to leave so I’m not scrambling at the last minute.
I’m already familiar with the INDRO website, so I’m looking for personal experience primarily.
