Hi all.
I am on 125 mg methadone daily. I've had a cold, so I took 30 mL of NyQuil today at around the same time as my dose, and I've noticed that I feel the methadone quite a bit more strongly than usual and am definitely more sedated. I know DXM is very closely related to opioids despite having very little to no intrinsic opioid receptor activity on its own, but does it act as a potentiator, and if so, how strongly?
I ask because I am on a relatively high dose of methadone as it is and do not want to end up overdosing or in a potentially dangerous situation. Thanks.
