Hi, I was wondering if it's ok to add DXM (About 60mg) to a methadone and MXE cocktail?

Would there be too much NMDA antagonism going from all 3 or possible Serotonin Syndrome/Heart damage??

So far I've had Methadone, MXE and grapefruit juice.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the reply!

What do you mean by "I think it would be best to avoid the DXM."?

Can you please explain why?

Thanks again, Gaz

Just two very strong NMDA antagonists means there's a higher risk for problems.

MXE + DXM = Bad.
I nearly killed my partner with this combo. I spent 48 hrs with slurred speech and bad balance, she could hardly stand and went into a near comatose state. Luckily she slept through most of it, but managed a couple of concussions trying to go to the bathroom.

Thanks for the helpful replies hatrix, and very glad to see you stayed out of dangerous territory Gaz_hmmmm!

48 hours sounds like she was enzyme deficient with the DXM, which was most likely unrelated to the cocktail and was most likely from the DXM alone.

Possible, but better safe than sorry.

If one really must try DXM and MXE, start low,

I think combining just about anything with methadone is a risk.
