I'm sorry to hear about your hair loss. I could be wrong but I have never heard of anyone losing their hair from methadone. Are you on any other medicine that might be causing this? I would definitely bring this up to whoever prescribes your medicine. As far as switching back to the suboxone it is what you think that works best for you and with the least side effects. I hope things get better for you.
24 isn't unusually young for someone to start developing male pattern baldness. Its possible that you're just starting to lose your hair. I would consider your opiate treatment to be the most important issue for now, and deal with the hair thing when you've got the drug thing under control, but definitely bring it up with your doctor.
