Opioids Methadone dosing question, please respond quick! Leaving to work soon!!

Im "on suboxone maintenance" but i havent dosed for the last nearly 72 hours, and before then i was only on subs for about 4-5 weeks, starting at 12mg and i tapered down to 6mg by the time I stopped dosing, in hopes of getting a high.

I've been smoking some Tar and i gotta smoke soo much to get a buzz, but it happens..anyways I got a bunch of methadone tablets left over from when I was on MMT..

My QUESTION: what is a safe dose of methadone I should take for recreational purposes? I know my tolerence has dropped alot since being in the partial-agonist bupe, so I dont want to over do it and OD AGAIN. not to mention I take etizolam daily, but im pretty tolerant to benzos ( 10mg alprazolam for a high/buzz)

so ontop of this little tiny tar buzz i got, i want to take a few dones to add to it and keep me well all day at work, with maybe some glow :)

SO WHAT SHOULD I DOSE THE METHADONE AT?

Methadone commonly synergizes strongly with Benzo's. Benzo methadone is one of the most common drug combo's people OD/Die on so please keep this in mind.

I would not try and get high at this point. It will take about 11 days for the bupe to clear your system. With the bupe on board, especially at the level it still is in your system you will likely have a real hard time getting off. If you try you may find that you cant and try and take more and more. This would cause a dangerous situation as if you take enough of the methadone to break through the bupe then you have a great chance of ODing.

I would suggest that you give up the idea of getting high for a while and instead just try and maintain with small doses of methadone until the bupe clears.

The long half life of the bupe is also the reason you find yourself needing so much H.

I would just try 5 mg of methadone to start and please keep in mind that the come up for methadone is like two hours so you don't want to redose before the full effects kick in.
 
i started with started with 25mg...then about 3 hours later anouther 20mg, so total of 45mg today, by no means did i get a high or eve a buzz, but I feel good, and not depressed and have very minimal anxiety if any at all which is why I am feeling so good today... I really need to get back on methadone maintence, this is so much better than any day on Bupe....fuck that drug.
