Methadone dosing from Oxycontin, need advice!

So last night I took my last Oxycontin....BUT I have a 10mg Methadone tab I got from a friend. I take an OC20 in the morning and at night plus at least 15mg of Oxycodone a day...although on bad days Ill take as much as 30mg (not at once although I can take about 25mg at once for a great buzz). Would I be fine taking 5mg of Methadone tell I get my OC20 script? I have chronic pain and my OC20 from last night is gonna wear off in an hour :O I was thinking of taking the 5mg now and the other half tomorrow...

Your plan seems sound according to the conversion chart. 20mg oxy = 5-10 mg methadone, but I am assuming that is IR oxy, not the contin.
