I've been on methadone for 2 months have a daily dose of 55mg and have carries. Questions 1 I wanted to get high off my methadone carries and wanted to know what would be a good dose? I was thinking drinking 1 and a half carries so 80mg to start and if I'm good leave it at that if it's not enough 2-3 hours later take the rest. Any opinion on how much I should ingest to get "high" and still be safe? Also my carries are in 110ml of liquid if I plan on not drinking the whole thing should I just shake and drink half or how do I go about trying to get an equivalent mg per ml of meth with carries when they are diluted with tang?
Question 2, I don't have a fridge at my disposal or at least not one I can put carries in, I have had my carries out of a fridge for 12 hours so far how long can I keep them out of a fridge for before they lose potency?

We're not here to help you get high or tell you what the best dose to get high is, we are a harm reduction forum. And we really can't know what a safe dose for you is. It's very difficult to get high but still stay in a safe dose range when you're on methadone maintenance, and everyone is different. Please be careful. You can always take more but you can't undo it if you take too much. And make sure you give it a few hours before deciding whether or not to take more. Still, one scary thing about methadone is that you can overdose without feeling high.

If you have 55mg of methadone in 110ml of liquid, that means you have a concentration of 0.5mg per ml. You could shake it if you want, but it is supposed to be an even concentration. Use a clear measuring cup or something that has small increments of measurement on it, so you can dose more precisely. You should be able to get something like this for free at a pharmacy. Unless the bottle your methadone comes in has measurement lines on it?

Methadone will keep it's potency for quite a long time out of the fridge. It might start to ferment though. I would say try not to leave it unrefrigerated for more than a week, but I have gone much longer than that myself.
