Hello.
Sometimes I take a little methadone, the liquid kind. It is not for maintenance or anything, just on occasion and sometimes for a couple weeks at a time. I don't often get it so not too frequently. But it is the liquid kind- and I take about anywhere from 10-17 ml in a day (equal to 20- 34 mg) but maybe 5 ml or 6ml at a time (equal to 10-12 mg at a time).
I have also blood sugar issues with prediebetes, managed with diet- as well as reactive hypoglycemmia. It seems that my blood sugar can drop a little lower lately and I am wondering if these small amounts of methadone are affecting that. I have read online at other cources that methadone has been known to cause hypoglycemic episodes but I believe in higher doses.
Just wondering has anyone else either had this experiece with small occasional amounts of methadone or happen to know anything about it.
Thanks
