Has anyone had methamphetamines without a comedown?
The other weekend I got some meth, the best meth I have ever had, got spun as fuck at about midnight after a bong bowl, kept on smoking some more bowls afterwards with 2 friends, stayed up all that night...and the next day..I didn't feel any comedown whatsoever, and I slept that night.
Anyone else have this? It was easy to sleep...good spun, everything was perfect. It was unbelievable, and no I was not hallucinating...it was killer speed.

I've never had a comedown. Yet 20mg dexedrine left me sick for 4 days...

When I first started using meth, in low-ish doses, and taken orally, I didn't get comedowns.
I do now though...especially from smokning and snorting. :(

Same here. The more you do it, the worse the comedowns.

Tolerance and downregulation are a bitch. Shame that they practically last forever, too (i.e. taking a break doesn't help all that much).

I heard if you give it a six month break from meth use that your tolerance will go away..but i do not know if this is true.

Nope, it's pretty much a permanent tolerance.
Even if you use meth erratically, you can develop a pretty wicked tolerance quite quickly.
People who used to be hardcore meth addicts often find that a hit of meth makes them feel tired, even after years of not doing any meth.

That is not necessarily true. Over this pastr summer I was using quite a bit of meth. Then I moved away for a 3 month break. When I returned, the very first hit I took felt just like the very first one I had ever done in my life. So I know that my tolerence level went down during that "break".

the question is is this "tolerance" a pychological thing, or physical ???
i definitely noticed the comedowns started to become evident, then more pronounced given increased use.

Man, I sure hope not. I've only done it once, and the comedown was about as bad as the high was good... didn't really leave me with much of a desire to do it again.

Im interested... I was thinking that downregulating was reversible, any more about this?

The tolerance is both psychological and physical of course, but primarily the latter.
I used to think the downregulation was reversible too...and I think it is TO SOME SMALL EXTENT...but people who really abused amphetamines will tell you that they just never get high anymore...it lasts YEARS for them. Perhaps after a decade they would be able to get high again but by that time they have moved on to other things aren't interested in doing meth/amph any more.

the meth comedown can become quite wicked. especially, after a 3 + day binge. however, i would rather take the meth comedown before a coke comedown anyday! meth takes you farther, is more intense, and it seems that the crash isn't as bad as cocaine. at least for me. also, with a little xanex or pot the comedown is quite tolerable, in my opinion.

Do you guys get really emotional while coming down from meth?
I get really depressed, thinking that I am all alone in this world. I would end up crying for no reason, and little things would make me depressed for days.
Anyone else get these symptoms aswell?

I have had glass on two occasions where I didn't have a comedown, but everyother time I just pop Xanax and pass out so I dont really feel the comedown. I really dont like doing Meth too much anymore though, its just something about being awake for a long period of time that doesn't appeal to me anymore..

I don't get the symptoms you mentioned, but I know plenty of people who do. They are quite common. Meth messes with numerous neurotransmitter systems so it's no surprise that its use leaves some people frazzled.

my best friend gets real emotional on comedowns from stims... it REALLY sucks too because i normally pass the fuck out hours and hours before she does, so she ends up having panic attacks when im asleep...

i never had comedowns for the first month or two when i started doing meth...and then they came, and got nothing but much worse. my tollerance is ungodly high, and breaks dont really help. if i do shitty meth, forgetaboutit, ill never get off. the only way around it for me is benzos... in the beginning, melatonin did the trick, but its way past that now.

Just so I'm sure what you guys are talking about, when you say "come down" do you mean jonesing for more or an actual sick feeling? If it's a feeling other than wanting more drugs, I've never had one.

A comedown, at least for me, means feeling:

like shit
really, really tired
often, my head hurts
irritable mood
