it's because your breath smells like pee :D

so...if you saved your piss in a bottle and let it evaporate would you be left with meth again? would never drink my own pee...but i'm not above semi-disgusting acts of desperation

You would have a lot of (pseudo)ephedrine & BMK in there as well. I don't think that meth is all removed unmetabolised. I've drunk alcohol that tastes worse than pee and not complained, what, with being an alcoholic an all...

I've extracted amphetamine from my own urine before, but it wasn't a case o desparation, but curiosity. I did once put forward the idea that you could use your body to produce narcotics - swallow 300mg of codeine with a cyp3A4 inhibitor (couple of glasses of grapfruit juice will do) to prevent metabolism to norcodeine or normorphine, then wait until you piss out morphine-6-glucuronide. Extract it and hydrolyse the morphine-6-glucuronide by heating it with dilute hydrochloric acid and voila about 150-200mg of morphine hydrochloride in soln

Of course to do it on a large scale involves getting a lot of people to piss into a big tank... at that point I'm no longer interested; my own piss is fine, but other peoples (and the foods they've eaten that alter the smell). No thanks
 
What about making a bunch of rabbits eat safrole, then get the MDA from their piss.

Better to get the norcodeine/normorphine and add a phenyl ethyl group to it (x18 potency). Is there anything you havn't tried? Man, your a classic!=D
 
Only 1/8 of this article was about the actual urine drinking. The rest was propaganda for a republican's crusade.

Genius! This would be completely legal since the rabbits are the ones that are ultimately manufacturing and possessing the substance.

When can we start?

(Geez, why didn't I think of this before? I could get animals to do all my dirty work.. %) )
