Stimulants Meth turning bright red when melted

That looks more like the amber color that it takes on after various oxidation reactions happen in response to the heating of it.
 
Here are photos from start to finish. What it looks like before, during, and after melted.
That's not even close to being red that's straight up just something that got into your bowl or bag when it was weighed or cooked but nothing substantial. I'll show you what it looks like if there is a mix not done right and or sugar as I know for a fact from junior high when in science class they'd have you burn sugar on a flat burner plate to see what happens at it and it smells like! I'm sure almost everyone does this experiment in junior high, well at least in my catholic schools, we did in alberta Canada!
