So, I'm currently on the tail end of a day-long meth binge and I decide to smoke a 2C-E and 2C-P joint. Well the results were really fun, not as euphoric as the meth itself but a lot more interesting. The psychedelic phenethylamines seem to be a good booster of perception when combined with methamphetamine. But anyway, soon after smoking the 2C-P and 2C-E I began to develop a heartbeat around 140-150. Why would the phenthylamines raise my heart rate to that level, when the meth had a much less noticeable effect. Of course synergy is involved, but how?
So, while that was the main point of the thread I also want to address how methamphetamine has boosted the psychedelic trip... in all ways (including bodyload which means the level of the psychedelic experience is limited by the cardiovascular/anxiety toll of the amphetamines and phenethylamines.)
But still, even with those drawbacks it adds a lot of good feeling to the trip... I imagine methamphetamine and something not as stimulating like 2C-C or AL-LAD would be amazing. Of course, meth + 2C-P is a great fun relaxed evening... no really I'm not being sarcastic.
So basically, what would explain this synergy between MDMA (not personally experienced) and Meth in psychedelics? Is it perhaps the intense release of serotonin causes the experience to have a much different character.
