I started a meth habit just over 60 days ago. It started out at 30mg's for a week, then 30-50mg's for a week, then 60-70mg's for a week etc., etc.. It has now reached a rate of about 140mg's per day, I wake up after speed sleeping for 6 hours with my pupils fully dilated, this has been going on for about 40+ days now. Realistically, without making it more or less than it is, how much damage should I expect to my mood / psyche / body / mind upon stopping? It hardy makes me high any more, what a bullshit journey

Thanks

If you're taking it every day and have been for the past 2 months, in doses exceeding 100mgs, I'd say you are very addicted. Stop now and you should be fine after maybe a week of some depression and fatigue.

A point isnt much at all.
When i use methamphetamine, rarely, ill start by shooting a point to a point and a half...or if i smoke i can sit and smoke like a quarter gram in a night easy.

I don't think it matters how much you are addicted necessarily, but that you are addicted. I would stop and see what happens. I would seek therapeutic/professional help too.

I know, the ROA is IV but people forget how high my tolerance is. 120mg's per day makes me feel how most people would feel shooting 30-40mg's. I did stop once for 2.5 days and could not fucking stay awake at all, even after I had slept for 2 nights in a row not using. Insane fatigue.

It's hard to stop a habit when the drug is so easy to get... I swear it's chasing me instead of me chasing it... lol. I've found that Mirtazapine significantly helps with the depression.

Thanks guys

The meth is chasing you. You aren't addicted to it, it's addicted to you. I have the same problem with every drug I encounter - they knock on my door at all hours and won't leave me alone!!

But if you're using meth daily, then you are addicted. There is no broad addiction scale to compare with - basically it's a pickle line - either you're fucked or you aren't.

So I guess the line of addiction is drawn at if you use daily or not? Pretty much?

first of all, addiction doesn't = fucked.....

especially his, dude its a cakewalk, delete all your phone numbers, move away, make it impossible for you to score any speed ( at least for awhile ) expect either days or maybe 8-9 days of feeling like total shit; (honestly though its not that bad if you like TV sleeping and eating) its a good excuse to sit there and do nothing, kinda fun actually

I like this outlook a lot better and think I'll stick to it... I agree, the two days I stopped and took a reasonable antidepressant I was just super tired and hungry. I remember watching TV for a whole day and not catching a single 30 minute show without nodding off, before sleeping for another 18 hours that night.

Yeah, it was even kinda fun, with good weed... dammit, now I have to do it....

yeah dude, quit now.....

If you stopped now, maybe in a couple of years you could snort a line before a party or show and that would be ok, its always good to just say "for now I'm putting this away, because i'm a free man and want to remain free of enslavement and addiction, and maybe one day ill use it again because I DID stop for NOW)

I've been going for 10 years now on amphetamines RX'd and meth for periods of time.... it gets worse and worse, to where you have to have it just to do anything, so the only way its at all enjoyable is to a "flirty" type relationship with it.

If you are worried about your use and are using when you don't want to you are addicted. The only answer to your question is that you are less addicted now than you ever will be again. it will just get worse. Jump off while you can!

You're right, it took 100mg's today to feel normal and then another 150mg's to feel high, that's almost half a gram in a day, absolutely insane. 30mg's used to compare to this now it's 350mg's?? Time to cut myself off. Thanks for the advice guys.

how old are you? You will be a much happier human for having done this, if you follow through

I'm 20 years old right now. Been using since I was 17. I have three days clean since I posted this! Yay me! The key seems to be going out and doing something instead of using, hard to think about using when you're driving or otherwise socializing / busy.

I have some questions and don't think I need to start a new thread for it so i'll just ask here.

On thursday i did some coke and felt fine until i came home and was still wired up. i figured that the coke must have been cut with something. I tested it with my marqiuz test and it was positive for amphetamine. I couldn't sleep for hours and felt bad the next day, and even today as well. I feel very bad because i was never gonna try amphetamines in my lifes and i feel bad that i didnt test it before i took it. I don't do a lot of coke. I'm more into MDMA which my testkit are for. I always have 1-2 month in between uses. I did MDMA 4 days before the "amphetamine fail" .. Does this mistake fuck up my serotonin recovery from MDMA ? Will i be okay to take MDMA again 20th july? Thanks.

People are telling you how dependant you are likely to be; not how 'addicted' which is a slippery term. A LONG time ago I was using 10mg of diazepam per day purely for 16-hour work days but when I stopped, I felt just awful BUT I didn't WANT to take the stuff and when I no longer needed it, I stopped. Speed is the under-reported drug in Europe with x4 as many IV speed users than IV H users.

dude just stay away from meth... age 20 is awesome! but you can make some dumb decisions like I did because you think you're infallible. quit now so you can perhaps have the FREEDOM to try it again in the future, but remain free always!
