for shooting a cop?
thats pretty sick.

Not really. Cops kills innocent people everyday and get drugs users charged with life sentences (taking their lives away). Cops are bastards, most of them don't give a shit about you, why should you give two squirts of piss about them.

Cops arrest drug users because it is their job to do so. Please don't blame the police for doing their job.

Would you like to live in a country where every cop has the right to judge the value of a certain law and decide if he wants to arrest someone for breaking it?

Your anger should be directed and the makers of the law you dislike, not the people whose job it is to uphold it and have absolutely no say in if this law is justified.

That's how it works. Some people get breaks at the cops discretion some don't. What planet do you live on???????

1. It's never a good idea to redirect anger. It's best to disolve it! Too many bad decisions are made out of anger.

2. The people who's job it is to uphold the law do not uphold it the exact same way. You are saying that cops do not give a break to speeders. They just ticket them at their speed with no warnings. What about people that narc so they will not be charged to be charged with a lesser crime. That says that they do have a say on how the law is justified.

+1 to redeemer.

imagine a society with no cops. violence would run quite rampant without a judicial system.

........er, in case you didn't notice, it does. Very few (and i mean very few) burglars and rapists get charged. There are probly more unsolved muggings, robberies, and assualts than there are solved murders.

When I'm arrested in possesion of a gram of hash and an ecstacy pill, or when i smash some chavies face in in self defence, the police are all to happy to crucify and arrest me, but when my grandmother gets assaulted and has her house robbed by some smackhead they don't wanna bloody know. IMHO the cops can go fuck 'emsleves. If they ain't gonna do their jobs properly I ain't gonna fucking help 'em doss off.

If people obey the laws because of the police, why are 10% of the population marijuana users and why do so many people commit crimes and stay for the police? Some people respect the law some people respect some laws. I don't respect the ones that use the same cop out as the Nazi's cause they were just doing their job too. Doing something wrong and getting paid for it doesn't make it ok, or else drug dealers should get to use that defense.

This is one of the dumbest lawsuits I have ever heard of. If drugs were legal the pig probably would not have been slaughtered. If anyone is going to be sued, it should be those responsible for the drug laws and the murderer.

The suit also names Ricky Ray Malone, who was convicted of murdering Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Nikky Joe Green. Malone was high on methamphetamine during the December 2003 shooting. A mobile methamphetamine lab was found in Malone's car.

Even if he had not killed the pig, he would have spent years in prison and his life would have been ruined. At least he killed the cop who helped destroy his life.

If I were manufacturing drugs and the pigs came to arrest me, I would try my best to take them down with me. Why should they be able to ruin your life without any consequences?

I hate cops. They are scum. Most of them believe that drug users are evil and they deserve to go to prison. For that, they deserve to die IMO.

^^ I've been called just about everything short of evil by police (As well as having a gun pointed in my face) for smoking dope when I was 16.

I have very little respect for police officers who enforce simple possession drug laws in non-violent, non-distribution, non-crime situations. I have had far too many encounters in upper-middle class suburbia towns that have WAY too active of a police force relative to the non-existent crime in the area.

There is a huge distinction between law enforcement being enacted upon violent and/or malicious individuals and overzealous, overpaid, overstaffed police departments harassing private citizens who are otherwise entirely law abiding and functioning, productive members of society because of personal decisions that are only harmful to themselves, if at all.

As far as I am concerned those who are responsible for the jailing, prosecution and otherwise harassment of individuals simply because they are exercising their natural right to control what they put into their own body are criminals themselves.

It is ironic, in my opinion, that those given authority in America are generally scum scraped off the bottom of the societal barrel. There ARE good cops but they aren't arresting people for getting high. They're fighting violent crime.

We live in a democratic society and the majority of all the people in the western world agree that using "drugs" should be illegal. Since we live in a democratic society I see it as a necessity that the police must follow the will of the majority, even though I personally disagree with the majority on this issue. I think it's immoral to arrest "drug" users.

As I see it the only ones we really can complain to are the law makers. We shouldn't ask that the police defy the will of the majority (break the law) to suit our needs, we should convince the public and thereby the politicians that using "drugs" ("drugs" = currently illegal drugs) is OK.

"We live in a democratic society "
No, we don't. We live in a Republic, and even that isn't all that accurate as the minority of the people control the government. Most people don't bother voting cause its a waste of time. The only voting that works is voting with your feet. Also if the majority of the western world had a clue about how cops really are, how they lie all the time and abuse their power all the time, their opinions might shift. Don't forget that over 80 million Americans have used marijuana before, and most Americans think it should be decriminalized.

I will only adress a couple of the claims in your post since others have questioned you on your other claims (with no avail).

So since most of your country's population are too lazy to vote, urging police officers to do illegal acts is OK? This is the fault of the voters not the cops!

So what all the cops in the whole world really are is a liar who abuse their power?

Sorry. I forgot that important point when writing my previous posts... 8)

Boo hoo for the cop. He knew what he was getting into when he picked up that badge and gun. He slipped up and got popped. Thats what the cops tell users when they get caught. I hope that family doesn't see one dime.

This is possibly the most ridiculous attempt to screw money out of a company I've ever heard. I mean, it's taking the piss, even for the US where sueing people is one of the biggest non-sport pastimes.

Just proves greed & stupidity are natural bedfellows!
