Meth/Glass/Ice/Crank.....?

I'm asking a few questions here because this past friday I did a few lines of "meth" & a few of "Ice"....since telling some of my friends about it I have had some people tell me that these are one in the same & then I have had people tell me that they are totally differnt...
so now I'm VERY confused & seeking info so I'll know for sure what I want & don't want to do next time.
Is there any differences between these or are they all just different names for the same drug?
If there are differences what are they?
Which form can each be taken in & what are the pros & cons of each?
Which do you prefer & why?
Which do you least prefer and why?

They are all the same drug. 'Glass' and 'Ice' usually refer to a purer (cleaner) drug. 'Crank' usually refers to dirty meth. 'Meth' is an abbreviated form of the chemical name (methamphetamine), and can refer to any quality of the drug.
'Ice', although used most frequently to describe meth, can also refer to a different chemical, calle 4-methylaminorex. However, ice usually refers to meth, as 4-MAR is a fairly rare drug to come across.
You can do any form of meth in 4 ways: eat, snort, smoke, inject. However, it's usually not wise to inject or smoke crank, because crank tends to be dirty and impure.
Obviously 'crystal meth' or 'glass' is usually the best, as it tends to be pure and looks like little glass shards...whereas crank can often be a dirty powder that's been cut with stuff, and can even be yellowish in colour (pure meth when ground to a powder is sparkling white).

when I lived in the midwest (usa) crank was usually the bathtub stuff versus "ice" which was real clean
basically both are methamphetamine with the varience in quality
low quality = low price = more toxic
high quality = expensive = still toxic
I have done meth exactly 6 times
the first time I did it I accidentally snorted 90% of a quarter gram (try snorting meth on a table in front of a cop at a indoor rave held at a banquet hall) it was what I call bathtub meth/crank and well it burned like hell. I was speeding my lil' white azz off for a good 3 hours .. .. but then say 8 hours later I completely freaked out.. not "speeding freaked out" but just feeling like sh*t physically and very delusional.

but yes stupid me does it again a few weeks later this time it was "ice" or "crystal" or whatever the f*ck it is that looks like pieces of glass.. anywho.. this time I smoked a line from a aluminum foil thing.. all it did was make me hyper for 30 minutes with a faster heartbeat. that night I went to sleep with no problems
a few weeks after that, once again I got some "crystal" meth but I decided to snort it...
spent the next 6 hours speeding BALLS but never to a point where I felt in danger. made the mistake of buying a gram and basically spent the next 3 days up on the dope. after the 35+ hour mark of being up wired like a freaking V12 motor I started getting delusional and kept thinking there were people following me or trying to kill me.
when I finally did get to sleep (+65 hour and 2 mg xanax later) I slept at least 16 hours then another 10
finally the last few times it was a SMALL line before going out partying - never more..
my take on it? if ya' wanna loose weight and loose your mind go for it.
if ya' can't find any pills for the night.. do a SMALL line and dance like the world was coming to an end. I'd avoid it tho' - you can only clean your house so many times and type so much code while speeding.

Ice is 4-mar and always will be (expensive but very long acting)
Glass is usually high quality pure crystal meth and can sometimes be passed off as Ice from shady dealers looking to make more loot (looks like shards of glass not as expensive as ICE but almost double what you pay for regular street meth)
Crank usually refers to low quality powdery meth
