Tara Elizabeth Axmaker goes on meth-fuelled joy ride

AN AMERICAN woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for stabbing a man in the back, and later going on a meth-fuelled joy ride in a police car.

Tara Elizabeth Axmaker, of Mulino, Oregon, stabbed a man in the back in the early hours March 15 last year, reports The Oregonian.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim but no sign of Ms Axmaker.

As authorities scoured the crime scene, Ms Axmaker got behind the wheel of a responding police car and drove off, leading police on a 'Dukes of Hazzard-style pursuit down back alleys and tight curves'.

She then drove onto a main Oregon highway without her headlights on, driving at almost 200km/h.

The chase was captured on the police car's video cameras, and on police radio.

The video was released this week by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in response to a public records request submitted by The Oregonian.

Ms Axmaker can be heard singing and swearing throughout the 11-minute ride: "We're on a high-speed chase (expletive)," she said as the chase began.

Ms Axmaker pleaded guilty on October 15 to charges of first-degree assault, aggravated theft and attempting to allude police.

This isn't Ms Axmaker's first conviction. In a bizarrely similar 2010 incident, she stabbed a man in the back while high on meth.

Telemarketing! Government! What!

Oh my fucking god. The first thing that dirty fucking pig said, after they violently ripped her out of the car and threw her on the ground was "WE'RE BEING RECORDED" like, guys, come on, let's move her out of the camera's view so we can fuck her with out guns, kick her in the teeth and ra... fucking dirty cunts.

Yeah, I heard and noticed that too. They no doubt are alot more careful to do their dirty shit away from the camera these days.

Maybe she was in a sycosis or something people always blame drugs and don't take responsibilities for there own actions IM not promoting meth just saying if you stab a nigga in the back and take his car don't blame meth

For someone totally out of their mind she drove pretty god damn good without headlights. wow the wonder of meth never seem to amaze me.. really she couldn't figure out how to turn on the headlights but could drive like that.. maybe she just wanted to make sure "there was one star in the sky" .. well one things clear she is most likely bat shit crazy as i dont remember singing as a common occurrence in psycoses, but really who knows.. well she will be singing her show in the showers as a ward of the state.

they slung her a good 6ft on to the ground and she wasn't resisting typical
yeah stealing a cop car and driving with no lights at night isn't resisting... just putting a a whole lot of innocent people in danger after stabbing someone.. fuck her I wish they would have thrown her farther.

It's a shame there was a camera, hey neversick. Poor psychotic bitch didn't get what was coming to her. Shame on the police for going soft (while the camera's rolled).

I guess they are happy that it was AN AMERICAN woman and not an AUSTRALIAN WOMAN

They probably got her with a nice cavity search back at the station.. but really im all for legalizing drugs but their use will need to come with the ability of a person to keep their shit together.. and IMHO stabbing someone in the back not just this time but another time and then doing this taking the cop car with out the lights on is not keeping your shit together and its crazy ass people like this that is providing the last stronghold for the prohibition argument. SO yeah fuck her and her crazy ass ways.

I'm not defending her actions, but that doesn't mean I condone people in a position of power such as police using their position of power to take out all their aggression. She is obviously in a state of psychosis. Having four or five policemen beat her up is really going to teach her a lesson.

First they came for the people with ice psychosis.

^ your right.. I think i was venting some of my frustration with that drug and with the actions of people who cant handle their drug and especially people who become violent and potentially deadly after using their drugs.. same way i guess I feel about thieves and criminals that choose to use their drug use and addictions to justify scummy or criminal behavior. But then again a bunch of cops beating on a woman.. bat shit crazy attempted murdering loony toon or not is criminal too.. but then again if I was approaching a woman who was out of her mind and had just stabbed someone I dont think I would worry about tusling her a little bit.. I dont agree with or approve of cop violence and cop crimes, but I also think people need to take responsibility for their actions and I think if you send your self to the moon, stab someone, and then steal a cop car with no lights on your going to get worked over. Also since a person in psycoses is out of their minds and she was clearly dangerous and could have been armed what would have been the correct way to deal with her.. set a oil burner and a pile under a box trap and weight for her to sing her psycoses ass over there.. I mean you hear her sing how she has a gun.. probably locked up but if the cops keys were in the car who to say that the key for the shotgun wasn't on the ring? I mean not all cops are bad people and they need to protect themselves as well in situations like these.. So I guess Im a littel divided on this case. I mean would it have been better to tase her? IDK for me this is a tough on to get behind this woman for being thrown around a bit after what she did, weather she was in her right mind or not.

My main beef was the fact that the first thing they thought of was "we're on camera". It just goes to show what their attitude is like when they aren't being filmed.

lol, great. Someone tell meth not to do that to people can you? It looks funny and will make it harder for them to get a job.
