Well. Im pretty sure my gums are fucked. Dont really wanna get into to much detail but i did meth for the first time in about 2 months this weekend. Not a shit ton probably just over a quarter g between 3 people smoked all night. i know meth causes gum and tooth lose. But my question is once my gums are gone and my teeth bleed out or get pulled out can i get fake gums and teeth? I know you can wit teeth but gums im not so sure. Also how long does it typical take for your teeth and gums if you smoke meth? Would snorting or eating it be better. Or it it bad for the teeth all around? Minus jaw clenching and griding. Please dont urge me to not do meth or any of that other bs. I know.

My father has fake gums with a couple fake teeth attached, but this was from him not flossing for most of his life. From what he's told me, the kinds of dental procedures involved here are positively excruciating, not to mention expensive.

Take the above poster's advice and seek out dental treatment before it reaches that point. And I'm not sure of your oral hygiene habits to begin with, but brushing and flossing twice a day or more could probably mitigate some of the damage you're doing.

Here's an article that puts some of the myths about meth mouth to rest: http://www.slate.com/id/2141709/

As one of the above posters said, yes you can get your fake teeth/gum from dentist.

But something that might help your teeth/gums is taking vitamins containing calcium and magnesium as well as gargling your teeth with mouth wash and brushing daily (not vigorously!).

If you didn't know, smoking meth causes corrosion to your teeth/gums due to its acidity. On top of that it also causes calcium depletion. Kind of insult to injury type of scenario. And the reason i say take something with magnesium is i've been told (not sure how true this is) that magnesium helps reduce teeth clenching/grinding.

I've smoked meth plenty of times in the past, but from taking multi-vitamins before binging and rinsing my mouth out with bit of mouth-wash after smoking meth proved to help reduce any oral problems.

EDIT:
IKKYU might of just debunked my concepts of what causes meth mouth :\
